Ian brought his 18 years experience at Hays driving large contract design and delivery when he joined Fegans as Chief Executive.

Ian is a trained parent support worker and focuses on how we can raise our children to be resilient and with good mental health.  He runs workshops with recently separated parents as part of divorce recovery programmes and works with families in their homes to help support parents to be the best they can be. Fegans’ parent support, intervention and training programme provides families in need with skills to help them become self-sufficient and break generational cycles of behaviour.  

Outside of the world of parent support, Ian spends time with his wife and three teenage daughters, is learning to box and attends Kings Church in Eastbourne where he lives.

After graduating from university Tia spent 16 years working for commercial organisations in recruitment. At the beginning of 2016 she took a leap into the unknown by moving to the charity sector and joining Fegans. “Joining Fegans has been a brilliant experience for me. I am able to use and develop my recruitment background in a sector that is new to me and the work brings me tremendous satisfaction and pleasure to know that we are all combining our skills to make a difference to the lives of children across the UK” Tia lives in rural East Sussex with her husband and two young children.

Jo Wild

Following a masters degree in economic development, Jo worked for Tearfund. She then spent 7 years fundraising for Save the Children, heading up their regional legacy team and helping to develop their supporter development strategy. Jo joined Fegans in May 2015. "It is a privilege to be a part of such a worthwhile organisation. Working to raise the profile of Fegans, together we can help improve the lives of more children and their families." Jo is married with two teenage boys and lives in West Kent.

Sonia Winifred

London Area Manager

Sonia is a local Councillor in Lambeth so has very good knowledge of the community and its growing concerns. Prior to joining Fegans, Sonia was a community Librarian working with local special needs groups in Lambeth, such as Brixton Prison, elderly residential homes and mental health. Sonia is also a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in a private practice in Lambeth. She also works closely with Diabetes UK and set up the very first Diabetes Support Group for young people living with Type1 Diabetes in Lambeth.

David Bishop

David has been working for Fegans since 2015 as Head of Technology. He has been involved with IT for over 10 years and was brought in with a remit to modernise Fegans' IT infrastructure. David recently moved back to Eastbourne from London with his wife Rachael. They both worship at St Michael and All Angels church in Eastbourne. “I love working for Fegans. it’s such a great charity that makes a real difference to the lives of children and their families. It’s great to be able to use my love of computers for God's glory”

Esther Green

Safeguarding Lead

Esther Green oversees safeguarding at Fegans. She has a Masters Degree in Children & Families Social Work and was a local authority child protection Social Worker for a number of years. Esther is one of the founders of Little Rascals Nurseries in Tunbridge Wells and has Early Years Professional Status. Esther is also an associate trainer for the Kent Safeguarding Children's Board. Esther lives near Tunbridge Wells with her husband and two children.

Nicola Baldwin

Parenting Lead

Nicola Baldwin is our Parenting Lead. She has been working for Fegans from January 2017 first as a volunteer, then as a Parent Support Worker and Volunteer Co-ordinator and now leads our Parenting Support Services. 

Nicola lives near Tunbridge Wells and has 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
