Fegans can see clients in school or in our offices in Kent, South London and Sussex. We take referrals for depression, anxiety, self-harm, school refusal, eating disorders and other similar work. We also offer counselling and/or parent support where a holistic approach is required.

We can take step down cases or indeed children who are waiting for their CAMHs appointment to be confirmed. We prefer to work as a partnership with surgeries or Clinical Commissioning Groups in order to establish clinical expectations but we will also accept referrals on a case by case basis.

There is a charge for our services…see
counselling or parent support for more details.

Why use us?

With CAMHS under pressure and waiting lists sometimes longer than is appropriate, Fegans provide an alternative course of action for vulnerable children who are suffering with a number of psychological, emotional or mental challenges.

All Fegans counsellors are qualified, children trained, DBS checked and work under the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy guidelines. Our governance is robust, our safeguarding is proactive and our outcomes are excellent.

Our prices are low and can be structured on a collaborative basis if required. We offer great reporting and measure our outcomes using Strengths and Difficulty Questionnaires. Our counsellors are mobile and work out of our offices, school, churches and community centres across the counties we are present in.

Our internal recruitment processes are robust and can identify the best practitioners in any given area meaning that we can recruit and deploy even in the remotest of areas. Our recruitment thresholds are high with every prospective counsellor meeting our Head of Counselling in person.

In short if you are a Clinical Commissioning Group and are looking for a partner to work with those patients at risk of being escalated to a CAHMs referrals, then we would welcome the chance to meet with you to discuss how we could best work together.
