counselling

Many of us at some time in our lives experience emotional stress for any of many reasons including relationship difficulties, divorce, depression, anxiety, bereavement or other difficult issues. Counselling is a means of enabling someone to work through such problems or difficulties with the aim of living a more satisfactory and resourceful life. The counsellor will respect the aims and objectives of the individual and will seek to provide a safe and caring environment.

Fegans has a team of Counsellors who are qualified to Diploma level. We also have trainee counsellors who are studying for their Diploma. All our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and work according to the ethical framework of those professional bodies. All our counsellors receive regular supervision.

Our counsellors work on a one-to-one basis with adults, teenagers and children. In addition we work with couples and families. Our counsellors approach the work in different ways, according to the model in which they are trained. Flexibility and individuality amongst our counsellors enables us to work with a whole range of client issues.

We specialise in counselling children and young people as well as adults. Counselling takes place on our premises and in primary and secondary schools. It is available in Tunbridge Wells,
Thanet and Heathfield. For more information contact us.
